The Rev. Darrell Jefferson will deliver the sermon Sunday in Dr. Steve Ayers’ absence this Sunday. It’s always a special treat when “D.J.” delivers the message. The sermon title is “Why Do I Fear?” The new testament scripture comes from Mark 4:35-41.

The Men’s Ensemble will perform the morning anthem “Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah.”

Deacon of the Week
Meredith Farrell is the deacon of the week. She will read the Old Testament lesson from Psalm 9:9-20 and lead the morning prayer.

Dr. Whicker is in need of people to work in the kitchen on the 4th Friday each month. He also needs someone to handle the dessert and drink table on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Friday. An extra person or two would be great to have to fill in when others need to be away any Friday. Please see or call Dr. Whicker if you can make a coca cola cake or banana pudding or can fill any of these positions. Hot dogs will not be sold on July 3.
