Dr. Steve Ayers delivers the sermon with scriptures from Lamentations 3:22-33 and Mark 5:21-43. Earnie Hartsell is the deacon of the week. He will read the Old Testament scripture and have the morning prayer.

Food on the First

Cooperative Christian Ministry needs include soups, pork and beans, saltine crackers, breakfast items, canned meats and canned fruits and vegetables. During the summer months children will not have breakfast or lunch at school. Cereal, breakfast bars and peanut butter and jelly are needed.

The R.A.I.N. Closet needs cleaning supplies and Clorax.

Esther’s Heart Collection will always needs crackers and peanut butter (not peanut butter crackers!)

If you would rather give money to the church to purchase food for C.C.M., P.L.C. or R.A.I.N. supplies you can do so by noting on your giving envelope and check the amount you would like to go towards any of these missions.

Fourth of July

The church office will be closed on Wednesday, July 4.

Men’s breakfast

The men will meet at Punchy’s for breakfast on Thursday, July 5, at 8 a.m.

No Friday hot dogs this week

There will not be a hot dog sale this Friday, July 6.

Arkansas mission trip

The youth will go to Arkansas July 6-14. You can participate in this mission trip by bringing spray sunscreen, beach towels and totes for the children of Helena/West Helena.

J.O.Y. Club meeting

The J.O.Y. Club will meet on Thursday, July 12, at 11 a.m. Our guest speaker will be Amanda Buck, Certified Senior Advisor, who is a consultant for Cannon Pharmacy. She will speak on senior health and has valuable information for seniors about medicine. Come and enjoy a time of great food and fellowship.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child for July: pencils and pencil sharpener. (ages are 2-4, 5-9 and 10-13)
