J.O.Y. Club at the Brickhouse

The J.O.Y. Club will meet at the Brickhouse Grill, 455 Corban Avenue, South in Concord for their May meeting on May 9 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Come and enjoy the food and fellowship.

Gig on the Green

The Gig on the Green is on Saturday, May 18, at 6 p.m. rain or shine. Enjoy music from the Brain Trust and the McGill McPickers. Bring your lawn chairs. T-Shirts are available for order. Please see Sarah Burris if you would like to order one today.

Church Mouse luncheon

The Church Mouse luncheon is at noon on Sunday, May 19. College students and those who have helped with the students are asked to RSVP to the church office or Jaime Poe at jkt1128@gmail.com by May 12.

McGill scholarships

Scholarship applications will be available next week and need to be returned by May 19. Scholarships will be awarded at Graduate Sunday on June 2.

Chrismon classes

Chrismon classes for beginners, intermediates and advanced are available at Piedmont Floral Gallery on May 2-4, May 30-June 1, July 25-26, August 22-23. Classes are $15 plus price of Chrismon. Each day offers 4 different Chrismons; one on each learning level. Their number is 704-636-7739.
