Dr. Steve Ayers delivers the sermon today, Easter Sunday, April 21, with scriptures from Isaiah 65:17-25 and John 20:1-18 . Kim Lyda is the deacon of the week. She will read the Old Testament scripture and have the morning prayer.
Church office closed
The church office will be closed on Monday, April 22.
Gig on the Green
The Gig on the Green is on Saturday, May 18, at 6 p.m. rain or shine. Enjoy music from the Brain Trust and the McGill McPickers. Bring your lawn chairs. T-Shirts are available for order. Please see Sarah Burris if you would like to order one today.
Kitchen renovations
It will soon be time to close the kitchen so the renovation can begin. The contractor and crew should start on April 29. We will use the remainder of the time to completely empty the kitchen. It will not be available for any use now. The renovation should take 60-70 days.
Chrismon classes
Chrismon classes for beginners, intermediates and advanced are available at Piedmont Floral Gallery on May 2-4, May 30-June 1, July 25-26, August 22-23. Classes are $15 plus price of Chrismon. Each day offers 4 different Chrismons; one on each learning level. Their number is 704-636-7739
