Breakfast at Church

On Sunday, February 4, the youth will provide breakfast for the church. They will be serving from 9:20 until 9:40. A serving table will be set up in the hallway outside the Fellowship Area.

Valentine banquet

Everyone is welcome Friday, February 16, at 7 p.m. to the McGill Valentine Banquet. Tickets are $8 per person and will be sold today at both services. We look forward to celebrating with you. If you are interested in making beaded Chrismons for 2018, Rufty’s in Salisbury is offering classes. Call Rufty’s at 704-636-7790 to get information and dates and to reserve your spot or visit their shop at 280 Furniture Drive in Salisbury.

TV needed for R.A.I.N. client

A R.A.I.N. client is in need of a TV. If you have a TV you need to give away please let Anne Bishop or Winfry Whicker know.

Recycling for St. Jude’s

There is a box in the lobby to place your Christmas cards or all occasion cards for St. Jude’s for Children to recycle and create new cards. The Joint Missions Council will send the cards to St. Jude’s.

Race Together

Wendy McConnell will have another class for Race Together February 11 through March 18 from 3-5 at McGill. This 6-week series will shed light on historical and social context leading to our current racial situation. We will look at how we got here; why we remain disconnected; and most importantly, how we can be part of the solutions.
