2019 Budget discussion

On Sunday, November 11, at 6 p.m., you are asked to attend a meeting to discuss the 2019 budget. On November 18, at both worship services, the budget will be voted on without discussion.

Hurricane relief

If you would like to donate to help those who are affected by the hurricanes, you may do so by noting on your offering envelope or check “CBF Hurricane Relief”.

Operation Christmas Child

Shoeboxes are available in the lobby for Operation Christmas Child. They need to be returned to the church by November 11.

Collecting warm coats and clothing

We are collecting new or gently used coats for boys and girls from preschool to elementary school ages. Sizes most needed are 6, 7, 8 for boys and girls. Also needed is new socks and underwear. There is a box in the lobby to collect your gifts.

Marys & Marthas project

The M & M (Marys and Marthas) are collecting $10 Wal-Mart gift cards. Please leave them in the basket in the library. On November 4 they will meet and do church “mouse” notes.

Race Together

Race Together is an engaging and informative 6-week community series for those that would like to discover more on the topic of race in the U.S. Classes will be here on Sunday afternoons from 3-5 through November 11.
