In It Together – worship this week

Dr. Steve Ayers, pastor of McGill, will deliver the sermon “In It Together” Sunday, Sept. 26. Erin Currie is the deacon of the week. She will read the Old Testament lesson. Scriptures are from Psalm 124, James 5:13-20 and Mark: 9:38-50.

Rememberng Flake and Jane Mills

Deacons meeting Oct. 2

Deacons will meet on Sunday, October 2, at 2 p.m.
Nominations are now being taken for the 2024 Diaconate Class. There are forms in the
lobby or you may also email your list to plawing@triad.twcbc.com. Forms need to be
submitted by October 3. Please leave your nominations in the basket in the lobby.

CROP Walk coming up

The Cabarrus County CROP Hunger Walk will be Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Forest
Hill Methodist Church, on Union Street in Concord, NC. Please see Donna Duncan or
Paige Ayers for more information.

Cards for sick and shut-ins

At the back of the sanctuary are greeting cards that we invite you to sign. These cards
will show encouragement and love to our shut-ins, sick, or bereaved.
