Dr. Steve Ayers delivers the sermon. Earnie Hartsell is the deacon of the week. He will read the Old Testament scripture and have the morning prayer. This week’s scriptures are Romans 8:6-11 and Ezekiel 37:1-14.
CBF Easter Offering
Your gifts to the CBF Easter Offering for Global Missions transforms lives. When you give, you … share the message of Jesus Christ. CBF field personnel Kirk and Suzie have served in Thailand among the Bisu people for nearly 20 years, seeking to testify to God’s power to transform lives through literacy. Through their work, the Bisu New Testament was published in October 2015 and work continues on translation of the Old Testament and beyond.
Youth meeting today

McGill Barbecue
The BBQ is this Friday, April 7. If you have collected money for tickets, please turn in to Bruce today. Items in the refrigerator need to be removed by today. Please be at the church if you are helping on Thursday, April 6 or Friday, April 7 by 8:30 a.m. On Friday you are asked to park down near the garden.
Many desserts are needed for the BBQ. Baked goods can be brought to the McCoy classroom on Thursday, April 6. Refrigerated desserts are welcomed. Please let Trena Goodnight or Debbie Mullis know if you can help.
Easter Egg Hunt
The children, preschool to 3rd grade, are invited to an egg hunt in the sanctuary on April 9 from 2-3:30. Please bring your baskets.
Operation Christmas Child
Items for Operation Christmas Child: April: Craft supplies such as colored paper, colored pencils, crayons, etc. Our goal is to fill 100 shoeboxes this year.
Supper Club
McGill Supper Club will go to Big Tiny’s BBQ in Mooresville on April 14. The bus will leave at 6 pm or you may meet there at 6:45. Contact Jaime Poe at 919-665-7930 if you’d like to go. All are welcome.
R.A.I.N. Need
There is a need for a refrigerator for a RAIN client. If you have one that you would like to donate that is in working order please call the church office.
