Dr. Steve Ayers delivers the sermon on Pentecost Sunday, June 9, 2019. The title is “Empowered” with scriptures from Psalm 104:24-34, 35b and Acts 2:1-21. Jeff Young is the deacon of the week. He will read the Old Testament scripture and have the morning prayer.

Patriotic concert
The Piedmont Choral Society is having “All Patriotic Music” on Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m. at Forest Hill Methodist Church, 265 Union Street N.
This is a benefit concert for the Jason Ray Foundation (jasonray.org). Other concerts will be on Friday, June 21 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, June 23, at 3 p.m. These concerts are free but an offering will be accepted.
