Dr. Steve Ayers will deliver the sermon “Advice for a New Year” with scriptures from Colossians 3:12-17 and Psalm 148.Lindsay Megill will perform the anthem “Some Children See Him.” The Deacon of the Week is Bruce Arrowood.
There are no Wednesday night activities this week. We will resume the normal schedule on January 6. The Youth will resume their Sunday night meetings on January 3.

The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas is holding a blood drive at McGill on Monday, Jan. 11, from 4-7 p.m. Come and give the gift of life.
Next Sunday, Jan. 3, will be Food on the First. Please bring canned goods for the Cooperative Christian Ministry. Supplies also are needed for the R.A.I.N. Closet. Individually packaged snacks are needed at the Performance Learning Center. If you would prefer to give a monetary gift please note on your check or envelope.

Earnie Hartsell is the Deacon of the Week. He will read the Old Testament scripture Psalm 1 and lead the morning prayer. Lindsay Megill will lead Children’s Time. Robert Kluttz will present a Missions Moment. There will be a congregational meeting at 9:30 a.m.
