Our Pastor, Dr. Steve Ayers will deliver the sermon “Faith Stories” with scriptures from Mark 5:21-43. Dr. Ayers will deliver the message at both the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services.

Donna Smith is the deacon of the week. She will read the Old Testament lesson from Lamentations 3:22-33  and have the morning prayer.

Glenita Riley will perform a handbell solo of the hymn “Oh Beautiful”.

Passport week at Greensboro

Please remember the 10 youth and 3 adults as they leave today for a week at Passport at Greensboro College.

Arkansas Mission rapidly approaching

The youth need 30 SPF spray sun screen for their Arkansas Mission Trip.  The group will leave on July 10th and return the 18th.

Hot dog needs, no dogs on July 3

Here is your opportunity to help with the hot dog project: volunteers to work in the kitchen on the 4th Friday each month:. someone to handle the dessert and drink table on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Friday and an extra person or two would be great to fill in when others need to be away any Friday. Please let Dr. Whicker know if you can make a coca cola cake or banana pudding or can fill any of these positions. Hot dogs will not be sold next Friday, July 3.

Vacation Bible School is coming soon

VBS is July 19-23. The theme is Weird Animals-Where Jesus’ Love is One of a Kind! Volunteers are needed to guide the children from one activity to another. A hot dog supper will be at 6 p.m. on July 23. Clear, clean 2 liter bottles are needed.

Food on the First next week

Food on the First is next Sunday. Remember that CCM needs extra food this summer since children are not at school. Peanut butter, jelly, cereals, oatmeal, snack bars, crackers, macaroni and cheese, tuna, and canned meats, vegetables and fruits. CCM also will take vegetables from your garden.

R.A.I.N. needs

The R.A.I.N. Closet needs include toothpaste, Clorox, laundry detergent, dish detergent, paper towels and dog food. Also welcomed are the little toiletries you receive in your hotel when traveling.
