Nov. 20: To Give Light

Dr. Steve Ayers delivers the message with scriptures from Psalm 46 and Luke 1:68-79. Judy Jones is the deacon of the week. She will read the Old Testament scripture and have the morning prayer. The Rev. Darryl Jefferson performs a solo.

Passport Choices meeting

There will be a brief PassportChoices information meeting at 9:30 today.

Thanksgiving Eve service

Thanksgiving Eve service will be this Wednesday at 7 p.m. A simple meal of soup will be served. The Lord’s Supper will be observed.

McGill Missions Post Office

The McGill Christmas Post Office is open! Let us “deliver” your Christmas holiday cards for only 25¢ each to active members of McGill Baptist Church. We will begin accepting cards today and will begin delivery on Sunday, November 27th. The final day of operation will be Sunday, December 18th. All money donated will go towards Children’s Missions.

Advent poinsettias

Envelopes are available on the table outside of Paul’s office to purchase a poinsettia in honor or in memory of a loved one during Advent. The cost is $12.00.  Please leave your fully completed envelope and check in the box provided. Today is the last day to reserve your plant.

Winter coats & clothing

We are collecting new and gently used coats for children up to size 10. We are also requesting pre-packaged socks and underwear for preschool aged children. There is a collection box in the lobby.

Hurricane Matthew Relief

CBFNC is taking donations for Hurricane Matthew relief for those who have been devastated by this disaster. You may donate to this fund by making your check to McGill and designate it for CBFNC Hurricane Matthew relief.

Christmas concert

The Piedmont Choral Society with the Pfeiffer University Choir and a 25 piece orchestra will present a Christmas concert on Friday, December 4 at 3 pm at Forest Hill Methodist.
