Dr. Steve Ayers will deliver the sermon “Sources of Amazement” with scriptures from Mark 13:1-8 and I Samuel 2:1-10. Eric Poe is the Deacon of the Week. He will read the Old Testament scripture and lead the morning prayer.

Old Fashioned Hymn Sing
The Piedmont Choral Society hosts its 6th annual “Old Fashioned Hymn Sing” of older, beloved hymns and hymn stories this afternoon at 3 p.m. at Forest Hill United Methodist Church on November 15. The program is free. Please bring a canned good for CCM. A reception will follow.
-The Cabarrus Partnership for Children is again collecting gently used or new coats for children sizes 12 months up to size 10/12. They are also collecting preschool sized winter items such as gloves, hats and scarves. NEW packages of preschool sized socks and underwear are needed also. A red box is in the lobby for collection.
-The Joint Mission Council is collecting gently used clothes for small children to teen- agers for The Upper Room. The box and rack for hanging clothes is in the back of the sanctuary.
–Ryan Foot Clinic is collecting new socks to be given to CVAN and the Community Free Clinic. A box is available in the lobby
-The YMCA Empty Stocking Christmas Tree is collecting new toys. Leave your toys in the box in the lobby.
