Dr. Steve Ayers delivers the sermon today, Sunday, Oct. 21, with scriptures from Psalm 104:1-9, 24, 35c and Mark 10:35-45. Jason Ball is the deacon of the week. He will read the Old Testament scripture and have the morning prayer.

Hurricane relief

If you would like to donate to help those who are affected by the hurricanes, you may do so by noting on your offering envelope or check “CBF Hurricane Relief”.

Fall Festival

The Fall Festival is on October 26 from 6-8 p.m. Please bring wrapped candy for prizes. There will be face painting, cake walks, raffle baskets, photo booth, games and prizes and lots of candy.

Children’s coat drive

We are collecting gently used or new coats for boys and girls from preschool to elementary school. Sizes most needed are 6, 7, 8 for boys and girls. Also needed is new socks and underwear. There is a box in the lobby to collect your gifts.

Race Together program

Race Together is an engaging and informative 6-week community series for those that would like to discover more on the topic of race in the U.S. Classes will be here on Sunday afternoons from 3-5 through November 11.

Dementia education conference
