McGill This Week

Welcome to McGill Baptist Church. We remember our past and we are thankful. We rejoice in the opportunities that are ours. We have a vision for the future, and we welcome it. We gladly accept the challenge knowing that only our best is worthy of our Lord. Our services are broadcast on Facebook and YouTube each Sunday.

Deacon of the Week

Jeff Young is the deacon reader Sunday, Oct. 2.

Duffle Bags of Hope

We have a family mission opportunity today at 2:00 p.m. All families are invited to pack backpacks for Duffle Bags of Hope, which is an ongoing ministry with Cabarrus Partnership for Children. These bags are given to children in the foster system. All the bags will be blessed after we’ve packed them!

Cabarrus CROP Walk

The Cabarrus County Crop Hunger Walk is on Sunday, October 9, at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church in Kannapolis. The walk begins at 2 p.m. Registration is at 1 p.m.

Collecting sneaker/casual shoes

The Opportunity House would like the congregations help in collecting gently used sneakers/casual shoes for adult men and women as part of their monthly homeless initiative. There will be a tub in the back of the sanctuary to collect your donations.
