“McGill Baptist Church will not have any services tomorrow (Jan. 24). The parking lot and entrances are not safe. Let’s hope for an early spring!!” Dr. Steve Ayers said Saturday.

Announcements

The Children’s Council is sponsoring a movie night this Friday night, Jan. 29. We will be showing “Inside Out”. We will begin at 6:30 and conclude around 8. A snack will be provided.
McGill will be in charge of the Winter Night Shelter this week, Jan. 24-30. Please see Robert Kluttz if you are interested in helping.

Tickets will be on sale today for $12  forThe Greatest Story Ever Retold”, the Cotton Patch Gospel. It will be presented on Friday, Feb. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. Pork chops, pinto beans, greens, cornbread, apple pie and banana pudding will be served.  On Sunday, Feb. 21, there will be a matinee performance at 3 pm with no meal. All ladies are asked to join us for “Still Becoming…” an afternoon of tea and fun Sunday, Feb. 28, at 3:00, hosted by the Marys  & Marthas.

The 10th annual BBQ is on Friday, March 18.  See Bruce Arrowood if you would like to help.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children recycles your used greeting cards and creates new holiday and all-occasion greeting cards. Deposit your cards in the box in the foyer. McGill missions will prepare the cards and mail to St. Jude’s.
