Dr. Steve Ayers will deliver the sermon with scriptures from Isaiah 62:1-5 and  I Corinthians 12:1-11   Donna Duncan is the deacon of the week. She will read the Old Testament scripture and  have the morning prayer. Special music includes “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” performed  by Caleb Pace, Darryl Jefferson and Steve Harrill.

Winter Night Shelter

McGill will be in charge of the Winter Night Shelter on January 24-30. Please see Robert Kluttz if you are interested in helping.

Cotton Patch Gospel

“The Greatest Story Ever Retold”, the Cotton Patch Gospel, will be presented at McGill on Friday, February 19, and Saturday, February 20, at 7 p.m. Dinner will be served. On Sunday, February 21, there will be a matinee performance at 3 pm with no meal. Tickets will go on sale soon. Please see Steve Harrill if you‘d like to help.

Marys & Marthas (women’s group)

Ladies, mark your calendars and plan to join us for “Still Becoming…” an afternoon of tea and fun Sunday, Feb. 28, at 3:00 here at McGill, hosted by the M&Ms. More details and sign-up sheets coming soon.

Recycle for St. Jude’s

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children recycles your used greeting cards and creates new holiday and all-occasion greeting cards. Deposit your cards in the box in the foyer. McGill missions will prepare the cards and mail to St. Jude’s.

Christmon classes

Beginning in February the Piedmont Garden Warehouse in Salisbury will schedule classes to make the gold beads and pearl Christian symbols for display on Chrismon Trees. If you are interested you can call 704-636-7790 or go to their website and be placed on their mailing list to be notified when classes will be held.
