Aug. 9: Advice Worth Following

Today’s sermon title by Dr. Steve Ayers is “Advice Worth Following.”  The New Testament scriptures come from Ephesians 4:25 – 5:2. The Rev. Paul Haywood will lead Children’s Time at the 10:45 service. The Sanctuary Choir will perform the morning anthem I’ll Live for Him Who Died for Me.

Bruce Arrowood is the Deacon of the Week. He will read the Old Testament scriptures Psalm 34:1-8 and lead the morning prayer.

The flowers at the alter today are given in loving memory of Nancy Jordan by her daughter, Julie, and her husband, Conrad, and their sons, Jordan and Taylor.
