JMC Financial Support Guidelines McGill Baptist Church embraces and strives to exemplify the objectives set forth in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s mission statement: We share a passion for the Great Commission, and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice. We are challenged individually and corporately to discover and fulfill our God-given missions. As we strive to fulfill our calls to missions, McGill Baptist Church, through the Joint Mission Council and other church organizations and individuals, actively seeks and enables opportunities for service. On-going fund-raising projects are identified and implemented to generate financial support for mission opportunities. Therefore, it becomes our responsibility to equitably allocate, administer and account for the funds raised and disbursed to individuals and groups who participate in mission projects. The following guidelines have been developed after much research, analysis and prayerful deliberation. We believe the guidelines encompass all aspects of mission opportunities – individual, regional, national, and international. Additionally, we believe the financial support offered is proportionate to the potential level of expenses incurred by participants in respective projects. As additional mission opportunities are identified, and as changes in fund-raising projects occur, these guidelines are subject to review and amendment to maintain fairness, financial balance, and practicality in supporting projects. All specific dollar amounts, percentages of reimbursement, and expenses approved for financial assistance are subject to the availability of funds from the Mission Projects & Ministries budget. McGill Baptist Church strives to be a missional congregation. We seek to live the Great Commission in all facets of our personal lives. We are intentional in seeking and fulfilling mission opportunities that enable all members of our church family to realize their gifts and abilities to perform missions throughout our global community. It is our prayer, intention, and desire that the attached guidelines will serve well to support these goals.
