Children’s Ministries

We have activities for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade on Sundays from 2:00pm-3:30pm!

There are so many ways for children to be involved at church! We teach them how they are loved by God and the ways they can share that love with others.

Here is our calendar of activities for the rest of 2022.

Chimes & Bells

The children learn how to read music by playing color toned bells. The color of the bell matches the colors of their notes in the music, so it helps them learn what their music notes look like.

We use CBF’s Spark curriculum to teach children about our CBF Field Personnel and their global ministries. Each month is dedicated to learning about a CBF ministry and how the personnel connect with their communities and provide shelter, food, clothing, access to education, access to medical care, and so much more. The children then learn how they can participate in missions in their own community!

W.O.W (Wonders of Worship)

This is a new program to teach kids about our Baptist traditions and to help them become more familiar with worship. Through this curriculum, we’ve established an acolyte program for the children. They are responsible for lighting the candle to symbolize Christ’s presence with us in worship. They will also be learning more about baptism, the church seasons, hymns, The Lord’s Supper, and prayer.
