Children’s Ministries

The church provides programs and activities for the children on Wednesday evenings.

Our preschoolers meet with Jordan Plemmons for a short lesson and activity from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. So far this year they’ve learned about the Armor of God and the meaning of each piece of armor. After the lesson, they colored or created their own armor.

Children in Kindergarten – 5th grade meet from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Glenita Riley teaches them how to read music by playing chimes and handbells. They have a short Bible Study lesson with an activity followed by a Missions Lesson. Each month introduces a new CBF Field Personnel and their ministry. The children learn about these ministries and how they’re relevant to the ways God’s love is being spread around the world. It’s also a great opportunity for them to learn about cultures in other countries.

Steve Harrill offers a beginner music class for children wanting to learn how to play guitar or ukulele. These lessons will resume next year.

There are so many ways for children to be involved at church! We teach them how they are loved by God and the ways they can love others.
