McGill Baptist Church is located at 5300 Poplar Tent Road in Concord, N.C It’s exit 54 off of I-85. Our telephone number is 704-788-1180 and the fax is 704-788-1219.
Worship services are at 10 a.m. on Sundays. You may join us in person or on Facebook or YouTube Live. We welcome and accept all people to our church family! There is a place for everyone at God’s Table.

Our pastor is Dr. Steve Ayers. He is well-educated and knowledgeable but expects members to think for themselves. “We don’t ask you to check your brain at the door,” Steve says.

The Rev. Steve Harrill leads the music program, including choirs for all ages, handbell choirs, a guitar ensemble, and more.

Lindsay directs the Youth & Children’s Ministries. She leads Wednesday night activities for the children including CBF Missions, Bible Study, and songs. Glenita Riley teaches the children to play chimes and handbells.
Lindsay also leads the youth in a Tuesday evening Bible Study at Starbucks and Sunday evening gatherings at the church for fellowship and lessons.
Please add to email list. Thank You.
Thanks Dottie. We’ve got you on the list.
Is there a way to donate to McGill online, via credit card in honor of a member that has passed away?
Thanks for asking, but we currently don’t have that option on-line. Contact our office and our office manager can help with donation options 704-788-1180.
Saw the Cotton Patch performance tonight and it was awesome! The entire crew was outstanding! So much talent!
Thank you for all the hard work and for sharing this performance!
I have a very active, very senior mother, age 93. She moved to Afton Village couple of years ago, and has remained active at her church, University Hills Baptist in Charlotte. She doesn’t know anyone at your church, but it would make so much more sense for her to attend yours. Do you have many senior members, senior sunday school? Could someone contact me and get her number and then invite her and greet her upon arrival so she could meet some folks? She still drives, cooks, sews, plays cards & lives alone and is looking for a church home nearby and some senior companions. thanks!
Stan we would be delighted for your mother to attend our church and we have many activities for all ages. I will have someone reach out to you.
