Priorities

Watch McGill worship service on Facebook Live

Dr. Steve Ayers delivers the sermon, “Priorities” with scriptures from Isaiah 58:9b-14 and Luke 13:10-17. Carolyn Guess is the deacon of the week. She will read the Old Testament lesson and have the morning prayer.

Baby Poe

The rosebud today is in honor of the birth of George Phelps Poe. Phelps was born on August 15 to Eric and Jaime Poe. Proud grandparents are Tim Tippett and Daryl and Vangie Poe. Congratulations!

Deacon election

Deacon election will be held at both services on September 8.

Honoring Paul Haywood

In honor of the retirement of Paul Haywood we will have a luncheon and time of fellowship on Sunday, September 8, following the worship service at noon.

Pool party

An End of the Year Pool Party is planned today, August 25, at 2 p.m. at the Kings Crossing Clubhouse at 801 Kings Crossing Drive NW. See Erin Currie if you have questions.

Blood drive

A Blood Drive will be held tomorrow, August 26, in the sanctuary. Drop in to give blood between 4 p.m.-7 p.m. You may sign up at the table at the back of the sanctuary today.

Computer, washer needed

The Joint Missions Council is looking for a useable laptop and there is a need also for a washing machine. Please talk to Winfry Whicker if you can donate either.

Wednesday night activties

Wednesday night fall activities will begin on September 4.

Recycle ink cartridges

Please bring your used inkjet cartridges to the church and leave in box outside of Paul’s office. We are completely out of them to recycle.
