2nd Sunday in Advent

 

Our pastor, Dr. Steve Ayers, will lead the worship services at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. Kim Lyda is the deacon of the week. She will read the Old Testament scripture and have the morning prayer.

Global Missions Offering

The CBF Global Missions Offering will be taken through Christmas.

Christmas Post Office

The McGill Christmas Post Office is open! We will “deliver” your Christmas holiday cards for only 25¢ each to active members of McGill Baptist Church. The final day of operation will be Sunday, December 18th. All money donated will go towards Children’s Missions.

Moravian Lovefeast

The Moravian Lovefeast is tonight at 6 pm. The Lovefeast celebrates the birth of Christ through scripture readings and prayers, hymns, the lighting of candles and the serving of sweetened bun and special coffee.

J.O.Y. Club meeting

The J.O.Y. Club meets at 11 am on Thursday. Come and enjoy the food and fellowship.

Hurricane Matthew Relief

CBFNC is taking donations for Hurricane Matthew relief for those who have been devastated by this disaster. Donate to this fund by making your check Hurricane Relief.

Christmas Concerts

The Piedmont Choral Society with the Pfeiffer University Choir and a 25-piece orchestra will present a Christmas concert on Sunday, December 4, at 3 pm at Forest Hill Methodist.

A Christmas concert will be performed by The Piedmont Prime Time Community Band on Sunday, December 4, at 4 pm Revolution Church in Kannapolis.
