April 24: How Will They Know?

Primetime Community Band

The Piedmont Primetime Community Band will present Americana Music on Saturday, April 30, at 3 p.m. at Concord High School. Tickets are $5 at the door. Admissions is free for children 12 and under and seniors 65 and older.

Ordaining Nick Clanton

Today we have the joy of ordaining Nick Clanton to the Gospel Ministry. Nick is finishing up his studies at the School of Divinity at Gardner Webb University.

Youth on Retreat

Please be in prayer for the youth and their chaperones that are in Marietta, SC this weekend on a retreat at Awanita Valley Christian Retreat Center.

Marys & Marthas

The planning committee for our Women’s Ministry would like to receive feedback from the M&Ms of the congregation on your ideas and opinions for our activities. As a woman at McGill, you are automatically an M & M (short for Marys and Marthas).

If you did not receive the survey and candy in Sunday School or earlier this morning, be sure to pick it up, enjoy the M&M candies, and fill out the survey.   You may drop the survey in the box that is on the center table in the vestibule.  Your opinion is important!

Recycling for St. Jude’s

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children recycles used greeting cards and creates new holiday and all-occasion greeting cards. There is a box in the foyer for your cards. This project ends on April 30.

J.O.Y. Club meeting

The J.O.Y Club will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m.  Robert Moore, vocalist from Concord, will present a program including spirituals, Broadway tunes and other favorites.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children recycles used greeting cards and creates new holiday and all-occasion greeting cards. There is a box in the foyer for your cards. The Joint Missions Council will prepare and mail them St. Jude.

Publix Super Market and their manager, Denise Murray, donated the beautiful Easter Lilies that were in the sanctuary on Easter Sunday. If you would like one of them to plant they are available in the foyer.
